Georgia Sea Grant College Program

For the 2010-2012 funding cycle, Georgia Sea Grant is soliciting research proposals that address coastal development issues. For this competition, Sea Grant will support research in both natural and social sciences. We seek to support research and accompanying education and outreach activities that ultimately will lead to communities that are sustainable, more energy efficient, resilient to coastal hazards and maximize ecosystem services. The anticipated funding range is $40,000 to $60,000 per year. The deadline for pre-proposals is February 25, 2009. Visit the Georgia Sea Grant page for more information.

2008-2009 Latino Students and the Educational Pipeline (LSEP) Grants

The Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach invites tenure-track faculty and all public service faculty members to submit research proposals related to the educational pipeline for Latino students. The Latino Students and the Educational Pipeline (LSEP) research grants will range from $2,500 to $5,000 and will be awarded in May 2008. The proposal deadline is April 4, 2008.
