Research on Georgia’s Latino Population

Athens, Ga. (March 5, 2007) – Faculty, students and staff who have conducted research related to Georgia’s Latino population are invited to a brown bag lunch and research sharing session on April 2, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Fanning Building Training Room.

The session is sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach in partnership with the Office of the Vice President for Research. To participate, please contact Trish Kalivoda at and submit an outline of your research project by March 20, 2007. A template is available upon request.

Small Group Sharing Session: Participants will share their research questions, methodology, and findings in small group sessions.

11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Bring your lunch. Beverages and cookies will be provided.

12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Whole Group Discussion of (1) future research questions; (2) possible research collaborations across disciplines; (3) discussion of potential funding sources and opportunities.
