Thirty-six juniors from Meadowcreek High School in Gwinnett County, Ga., participated in a shadow day at the University of Georgia on Friday, March 9, 2007. They experienced “college life” while shadowing current UGA students and received information about the admission process and scholarships. Shadow Day was sponsored by the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, the Center for Latino Achievement and Success in Education (CLASE), the Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach, and Students for Latino Empowerment.
