2009 National Outreach Scholarship Conference a success

The Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach hosted the 10th annual National Outreach Scholarship Conference on Sept. 28-30. This year’s theme, “Pathways of Engagement: Connecting Civic Purpose to Learning and Research–Locally and Globally,” served as a forum for discussing the state of public service and civic engagement in higher education. The conference was considered a great success and attendees look forward to the 11th annual National Outreach Scholarship Conference to be held in 2010 at North Carolina State University.
