Fundraising efforts continue for the Experience UGA program in order to provide funding for bus transportation, food, and supplies for this ongoing partnership with the Clarke County School District that aims to bring 13,000 CCSD students to campus for academic field trips and an introduction to college each year. As 2015 came to a close, an end of year appeal was conducted. In addition, the date has been set for the annual Experience UGA fundraiser. This year the event will be held the evening of April 6, 2016 at the Georgia Museum of Art (GMOA) and will feature a variety of speakers and fun activities. The GMOA hosts the 5th grade Experience UGA trip, which gives children in the Clarke County School District the opportunity to explore the museum, participate in an interactive gallery tour, and to create their own art.
