Archway/Fanning partner on youth leadership training in Pulaski County

Due to the overwhelming success and support for the Pulaski Tomorrow Leadership program, the community—part of the Archway Partnership—is providing similar training to youth in that county. Faculty from the Fanning Institute of Leadership Development have trained about 50 local facilitators to provide the leadership curriculum for adults and youth. The youth program is supported by Pulaski Tomorrow, the local school system and the Hawkinsville-Pulaski Chamber of Commerce.

The first group of 24 Pulaski County High School students received the training last year. Some of them now are helping facilitate the program to the new class.

Pulaski Tomorrow began five years ago when members of the community identified leadership training as a priority. Since then, more than 70 adults have graduated from the program and some have gone on to leadership positions in Pulaski County. Eighteen adults just began the 2015 class of Pulaski Tomorrow.
