Experience UGA received $2,670 from the Athfest Educates non-profit organization to support transportation costs associated with the third grade trip to UGA, which is hosted by the Department of Theater and Film Studies. The students will attend a performance of an adaptation of Nelson Mandela’s Favorite African Folktales and participate in drama games and learn about animation techniques and careers. Athfest Educates is an organization committed to sustaining and advancing music and arts education for young people in Athens-Clarke County.
