The deadline for submission of proposals for the Fall semester Public Service and Outreach (PSO) Fellowship program is March 29, 2013. One of PSO’s 2010-2015 Strategic Plan goals is to create outreach avenues for tenure-track and tenured faculty members.

The purpose of the PSO Fellowship Program, launched in the 2011 Spring semester, is to provide a semester-long immersion experience for tenure-track or tenured faculty members that enriches the work of one of PSO’s eight units. UGA’s PSO units include the Archway Partnership, Carl Vinson Institute of Government, J. W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development, The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education, Georgia Sea Grant, Marine Extension Service, Office of Service-Learning, Small Business Development Center, and the State Botanical Garden of Georgia.
