The Summer Academy at UGA program (SAUGA) is a series of educational specialty camps coordinated by the Georgia Center for Continuing Education, and taught by UGA faculty, staff, students and other professionals. Over the course of June and July this summer, 710 students ages 11-17 attended 40 different camps on topics such as 3D animation, video game design, medicine, U.S. National Security, engineering, film, fashion design, finance, law, robotics, art and more. Of the students who attended camp this year, 90 percent were from Georgia, nine percent were from out of state, and one percent were international students.
