After 45 years as an independent research facility, Skidaway Institute of Oceanography went to the Dawgs earlier this month. The Georgia Bulldogs, that is. Risse interim head of UGA Marine Extension Service

A University of Georgia water resources professor has been named interim director of the school’s Marine Extension Service. UGA administrators have named Mark Risse (REE-see) to fill the position on an interim basis after current Marine Extension director Randy Walker retires Dec. 1.
