University of Georgia Public Service and Outreach annual poster session
The poster session at the PSO annual meeting is a principal scholarship opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to share the impact of their research and service at UGA. A poster presented at the PSO annual meeting often leads to successful submissions at other key national and international professional meetings.
Scholarly posters share critical information about the work of PSO and our collaborators. They are formatted in a way to clearly and succinctly communicate our scholarship and generate discussion. For the 2026 poster session, there will be three templates available for authors to use when developing their PSO Annual Meeting poster submissions. A new requirement this year is for submission of an abstract as a necessary first step before submitting the poster. Abstracts will be accepted on a rolling basis. The portal for abstract submission is open, and the final deadline for submission is January 28, 2026. Once an abstract is received and reviewed, a link for submitting the poster will be sent to the primary author.
Abstract Guidelines
- Include the following information upon submission of the abstract:
- PSO unit
- Title of the poster
- Abstract (limited to 300 words)
- The category in which the poster should be judged
- Categories: Impact, Partnership, Scholarly Engagement, Innovation, and Research*
- The primary and all secondary authors of the poster including contact information (email address, phone number, mailing address) for each author
